The annual 4Xploring™ Fall Adventure is a 5 day, Monday through Friday, adventure event. We will meet in Mesquite, NV on Sunday, October 16th at 5:00 PM for a driver’s meeting, where we will introduce everyone, get acquainted and do tech inspections.
One of the great pleasures of back-country exploration is that we get to travel and enjoy landscapes that only a handful of others get to experience. The diversified trails offered on this excursion not only offer those memorable moments but also deliver the additional benefit of being in one of the most remote destinations in the country.
Let us tell you a little bit about what you are getting yourself and your Jeep into. Do you like adventure, overland style wheeling and extreme remote areas? There will be camping along the trail, campfires (where possible) and breathtaking scenery. On this adventure we will travel entirely off highway, you will need to be self-sufficient for primitive camping along the trail. We will not see pavement or civilization for the entire week, there is a refuel point mid week at a working cattle ranch where we will spend the night – rest, relax and refuel. Average high temperatures are between 60 & 80 degrees and average lows are between 30 & 50 degrees.
NOTE: This trip requires extra fuel capacity on board your vehicle, 20 gallons at the minimum. You must be able to do 400 miles in the dirt unassisted.
