The 4Xploring Continental Divide Ride is a 3-day (Friday through Sunday), back-country style event. The event is limited to 8 vehicles to make it an intimate experience for drivers. The Continental Divide Ride begins in Saratoga, WY, on Thursday, Jul 19th, with a 6:00 PM drivers meeting over dinner at a local hotel, restaurant and saloon that dates back to 1893! We will spend the night in this historic hotel, swapping stories in the saloon.

One of the great pleasures of back-country exploration is that we get to travel and enjoy landscapes that only a handful of others get to experience. The diversified trails offered on this excursion will not only provide you with memorable moments, but also deliver the additional excitement of being able to drive right on the Continental Divide.

Here’s what you’ll be getting yourself and your Jeep® into on the Continental Divide Ride: Do you like adventure, overland-style wheeling, and remote areas? Breathtaking scenery above timberline, switchbacks, river crossings and terrain that varies from 2-track to sand dunes? There will be one night of dry camping along the trail, and while in camp, the 4Xploring™ team will provide a cowboy dinner: steaks grilled over an open fire, a Dutch oven entrée, and dessert made over the coals—just like the cattle drives of old. On this adventure, we will travel mostly off highway, so you will need to be self-sufficient for dry camping overnight. We will start the trip with a night in a historic Wyoming hotel and end the trip with a night in a major Colorado mountain town hotel. Average high temperatures are between 60 and 80 degrees and average lows are between 30 and 50 degrees.
